My plan for The Tales of Jack

This is the idea I had for The Tales of Jack.


A series of stories that take place throughout the events of Samurai Jack, with a majority of them taking place between Seasons 4 and 5. They would be attempts to explain certain things, such as how Jack got his armor, or how Aku got his therapist.


For voices, I have decided to voice both Samurai Jack as well as Aku. If you haven't been watching my Aku impression videos, then don't worry. I will provide links in the description.

There will also be some new characters by me and some friends of mine that will only appear in The Tales of Jack.


This series will be animated using Adobe Flash, but I will do my best to make it as close to the orignal show's style as possible. And in post-production, I will be using Sony Vegas.


No. This is not a fan fiction. This is an attempt to add on to what has already been established.


So for right now, here are the characters I'm adding as of the time I'm posting this.

Right now, I'm just coming up with story ideas. After me and a few friends have come up with enough, I will begin writing. Then voice acting will commence after that. And then storyboarding and animation. And then post-production plus foley sound effects. I'm also experimenting in Garageband to see if I can come up with any good tracks that could fit a fight scene. I've come up with one, but it will be used in a test animation.

So the very first thing I will be doing this summer will be starting on a test animation as soon as I get my new computer.


And if you wish to audition for a character, please provide a voice sample or else I will not take you into consideration. I want the recurring original characters from the show to sound as close to the original show as possible as well. So basically in a nutshell, only those who sound the closest to the original characters will be said characters.


Also, each story will not have a set time length, meaning that unlike the original show, there will be more time allowed for specific stories.

And this process will not be instantaneous. This is gonna take a while. This will be the very first flash project I work on. And then after this, I will work on Halo: Light at Dusk with SFM, and then Sonic: New Horizon with Flash.


I want to make this fan series as close to the original show as possible. And if Tumblr hates what I do, well that's fine. I only watch people on Tumblr who do good art... *wink wink*


So anyways, that's my plan for The Tales of Jack.


Oh one last thing. I will be rating each episode a certain rating. For example, the lowest rating I have planned for a story is TV-PG, and the highest is TV-MA-V. So if a story is too violent, I will put a disclaimer at the beginning of the video saying so.
